WHO WE ARE.
Founded by Marliyn Dumpson, Mary Slaughter, and Genesis Johnson in Central Alabama - Walking in Excellence is a nonprofit organization designed to give women and men hope, encouragement, and healing through a variety of programs, ministries, and events.
Our Core Initiatives
Our mission is to bring healing and deliverance to the brokenhearted, empowering individuals to fulfill their divine destiny and build the kingdom of God on earth. We accomplish this mission through service projects, providing resources, hosting events, and awarding scholarships.
MENTORSHIP
Our mentorship program connects women and men with supportive leaders who provide guidance, encouragement, and spiritual accountability to help them grow in faith and purpose.
MINISTRIES
We offer a variety of ministries and programs designed to encourage spiritual growth, build meaningful connections, and equip women and men to live out their faith with confidence and purpose.
ADDICTION,
HOMELESSNESS, & RECOVERY
We partner with local organizations to provide compassionate support, resources, and faith-centered guidance to help men and women overcome addiction, rebuild their lives, and move toward lasting stability and hope.
SCHOLARSHIPS
We offer scholarships to help students pursue education, personal development, and opportunities that empower them to build a brighter future.
